The City of Raleigh is seeking a partner to operate the café space at Moore Square. This is a wonderful opportunity for a vendor looking to expand their market while taking on less-than-average costs in the heart of downtown Raleigh.

Highlights of the space include:

• Café Space: The café includes a 635 square foot building accompanied by a 1,675 square foot outdoor seating area The space is equipped with modern amenities, including a fume exhaust hood and grease trap interceptor, as well as hand, food prep, and dishwashing sinks. 
• Flexible Pricing: The space will be available at well below market value with most utilities covered by the City of Raleigh. The City of Raleigh will assist with additional upfit costs which will be negotiated with the selected operator.
• Central Location: Moore Square benefits from high foot traffic and easy accessibility, making it a desirable destination for locals and visitors alike. Weekday foot traffic sees an average of 1,552 daily pedestrians and weekend foot traffic sees an average of 1,964 daily pedestrians. Between February 2023 and February 2024, the site saw an average of 173,874 pedestrian visits. Nearby attractions include Marbles Kid’s Museum & IMAX, Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts, The Pour House, and more.
• Regular Programming: The City of Raleigh, Downtown Raleigh Alliance, and other entities regularly program Moore Square for events like Moore Square Market, Movies in the Park, Jazz in the Square, and more. Offering a dependable and consistent group of interested customers.
• Future Development: Is set to position Moore Square as the central-most park of Downtown Raleigh, with direct access to Bus Rapid Transit and 13,000 new residential units and 2,700 hotel rooms which have been delivered or are in construction.
