Donuts, that is. From savory to cream-filled, we have a sweet tooth for these six Raleigh donut shops for National Donut Day.

Baker’s Dozen Donuts | Try the apple fritters and buttermilk donuts from this old-school neighborhood spot.

Bright Spot Donuts | This neighborhood joint features creative donuts made with 100% organic flour. If savory breakfast is more your jam, try a breakfast-y galette or croquettes.

Burney’s Sweets & More | Stop in on National Donut Day for a free glazed donut + enjoy other high quality baked goods, including a range of croissants in any flavor you can imagine.

Daylight Donuts | This sweet shop offers specials Tuesday through Friday, like two donuts and a medium coffee for $4.85. The facility is also tree nut and peanut-free, meaning those with common allergies can restsnack assured.

Duck Donuts | Hailing from Duck and Kitty Hawk on the Outer Banks, these cake-style donuts are made-to-order with toppings like bacon, sprinkles, and a variety of glazes to choose from.

Krispy Kreme | Did you know this national donut chain has its roots in NC? The brand began in Winston-Salem and has been serving classically made donuts since 1933. Plus, the Krispy Kreme Challenge — which involves running five miles and eating up to a dozen donuts — is a time-honored tradition for NC State students.

Sola Coffee Cafe | Though this neighborhood cafe is known for its coffee, the made-to-order hot minis nearly melt in your mouth — Two Roosters makes an ice cream version with the cinnamon sugar donuts.

Tepuy Donuts | This pop-up shop specializes in sourdough donuts and can often be found at Idle Hour Coffee Roasters. Psst… stay on the lookout for a brick-and-mortar location, coming soon.
