Join us for a World Refugee Day celebration where we recognize, honor, and educate others about the experiences of those who have been forced to flee their homes. Come, be a part of this special occasion and show your support for our newest neighbors.

There will be local vendors, food trucks and field games for all ages. It will also feature a graduation ceremony celebrating local grads, a poetry reading from Brave Histories & Hopeful Futures: Voices from a Refugee Community, Volume 3, and a youth dance performance by Grupo de danza Renacer.

At 5:30 p.m., don’t miss the performance by Caique Vidal & Batuque! Rooted in the Afro-Brazilian traditions of his Bahia birthplace, Caique Vidal and Batuque fuse the sounds of samba, reggae, salsa, bachata, pop, rock and Bossa Nova.
