Event Zones
Arts Zone
Dance, song, and theatre will all be a part of our Arts Zone. Whether you enjoy mixed media or live performances we will have something for you. This will also be a great time to connect with arts opportunities on campus. Featured this year will be a performance area to listen to smooth voices, watch amazing dancers, or listen to some poetry.
Green Zone
NC State and the local community are committed to sustainability, and we want to showcase how the University is leading the way. In the Green Zone, find out about how many campus departments and organizations are making a difference in the community, view alternative vehicles, and learn more about how you can be green friendly and live a healthier lifestyle.
Food Vendors
Packapalooza™ will feature food vendors of all sorts along the street in multiple places. Get sweet treats, savory dishes, and drinks of all sorts. We also want you to visit all of the restaurants along Hillsborough Street. There is something for everyone. ATMs for cash are available within the event footprint (service fees may apply).
International Zone
We attract students, faculty, and staff from every part of the world. Come learn about the different cultures that make up our global community. We want you to be at home in the world here at NC State! Watch some of our amazing students as they perform and share talents from all the continents we call home.
Kids Zone
We will have something for the young kids in addition to the big kids. Come join us on Horne Street for interactive kid friendly activities. We will also have a dazzling chalk artist on hand as well.
Pack Pride Warrior Zone
Come and meet the people that keep NC State University and the Raleigh safe! You’ll have a chance to interact with the brave men and women of the NC State PD, Raleigh PD, Raleigh Fire Department, and the Armed Forces. Don’t miss your chance to see a real fire truck.
Play Zone
Have you ever wanted to kick a field goal or ride a mechanical bull? You can try your hand at our sports attractions. Learn to shoot a hockey puck with the Carolina Hurricanes or test your skills at shooting a basketball with NC State Athletics. We want to help get you in the mood to be active.
Service Zone
Community service and civic engagement is at the core of our identity here at NC State. Register to vote with the Wake County Board of Elections and find out how you can get involved with a number of campus and community organizations throughout the year!
Wolfpack Zone
NC State has a rich athletic history. Learn about game day activities, the loyalty program and The Wolfpack Club. We will also be able to meet your NC State apparel needs with local stores on hand as well. This Zone would not be complete without our amazing Alumni Association and tours of the NC State Belltower with the famed Dr. Tom Stafford.
