Wayfinding Artist-in-Residence

The Wayfinding Artist-in-Resident will collaborate with the Raleigh Department of Traffic Services division of Signs and Markings to create placemaking and creative wayfinding for pedestrians in Raleigh to help visitors navigate from site to site around downtown and activate family-friendly routes.
Artist-in-Residence Program at Dix Park

In partnership with Raleigh Arts and with funding from the Carlyle Adams Foundation, the Dix Park Conservancy is accepting applications for the first Artist in Residence Program at Dix Park, to be based out of the renovated Physician’s House in 2024-2025.
Pullen Arts Center Solo Exhibition
Deadline: January 31, 2025
Pullen Arts Center is seeking solo artists with large collections to exhibit solo shows in Pullen Arts Center’s main gallery throughout 2026. Applicants must feel confident in their ability to fill a large space with their work.
Up to three artists will be selected. Artists of all mediums are welcome to apply. Learn more about this artist call.
SEEK Raleigh
Deadline: To be announced for Spring 2025
SEEK Raleigh is an experimental public art program by Raleigh Arts that engages the community through public art in City of Raleigh Parks, greenways, and/or community spaces. Propose a public art project that you would like to create. Artists may submit up to four proposals per year. The City will provide space and funding.

Block2 Gallery Video Series
Deadline: Applications accepted year-round
Raleigh Art’s Block2 Gallery is an outdoor visual platform for video, digital, and new media artists. Viewed after dark, the changing videos aim to expand a viewer’s notion of visual art and introduce the community to new artists, ideas, and experimental mediums.
