Artspace, a nonprofit organization supporting visual arts in downtown Raleigh, is launching FRESH, its biennial exhibition spotlighting North Carolina artists. Showcasing works from over 250 creators—ranging from up-and-coming artists to established figures—the exhibit encourages thoughtful discussions about the role of art within the community.
In celebration of the new exhibition, Artspace will host four free events at the gallery:
- First Friday | Friday, Oct. 4 | 6-10 p.m. | Kick-off event featuring live music, wine tastings, and an interactive art activity.
- Artspace X Scatterbrain Screenings | Thursday, Oct. 17 | 6:30-8:30 p.m. | A special screening highlighting work by local emerging animators.
- Collector’s Panel | Thursday, Oct. 24 | 6-8 p.m. | Local art collectors will offer tips and insights on building an art collection.
- First Friday with Juror Remarks | Saturday, Nov. 2 | 6-10 p.m. | Jessica Orzulak of the Asheville Art Museum will provide commentary on curatorial decisions.
