The Power Up Candidate Forum was held on October 15, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Estey Hall, Shaw University in Raleigh. It featured 17 confirmed candidates for the Raleigh City Council and Mayoral elections. The event was moderated by Rev. Telika McCoy, PhD, and co-hosted by NC APRI, Orchid Bloom NPO, and Shaw University. It offered an opportunity for attendees to hear directly from the candidates ahead of the elections.
