The annual Downtown Raleigh Tree Lighting, presented by the Downtown Raleigh Alliance, on Friday, Nov. 22, from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at Lichtin Plaza at the Martin Marietta Center for the Performing Arts. Enjoy a festive evening featuring a local vendor market (perfect for checking off holiday shopping lists!), delicious bites from food trucks, live music, and photo ops with Santa himself. The highlight of the night will be Mayor Baldwin and friends of Downtown Raleigh flipping the switch to light up the tree, casting a warm holiday glow that’s sure to lift your spirits.
