The City of Raleigh’s Budget and Management Services Department (BMS) is hosting a total of eight listening sessions throughout December and January. BMS wants to hear how you’d like your tax dollars spent! Your input is critical to creating an equitable City budget.
In addition to two virtual sessions, there will be six opportunities for in-person engagement throughout the months of December and January. See the schedule below.
Virtual Sessions
Virtual sessions will be held via Zoom. Those who choose a virtual session will receive the Zoom link for the session after signing up.
In-Person Sessions
In person sessions will kickoff on December 11th, with the “Budget and Brews” event at Clouds Brewing. Come share your thoughts about the City budget with free pizza provided!
In January, BMS will hold listening sessions at a community center in each district.
You can register using this link. Registration is not required for in-person sessions, unless you would like interpretation services (available free of charge at all sessions) and/or child care services (available free of charge at all in-person sessions except “Budget and Brews”).
