On Thursday, Jan. 9, there’s a variety of events to explore in Raleigh. Start your morning with the Public Library Pop-Up at Dorothea Dix Park at 10 a.m., where you can enjoy indoor story time and borrow or return books from Wake County Public Libraries for free. In the evening, check out the Dry January Series at The Longleaf Hotel & Lounge from 5 to 7 p.m., followed by live music from XOXOK at The Raleigh Times Bar from 7 to 10 p.m. Comedy fans can catch Zainab Johnson, known from Last Comic Standing, performing at Goodnights Comedy Club at 8 p.m., with tickets starting at $33. Additionally, the Raleigh Home Show will be running from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the Raleigh Convention Center.
