The Annual Memorial Tribute March to the Life and Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. commenced at 11 a.m. from the State Capitol Building, located on Edenton Street in Downtown Raleigh. Civic organizations, community leaders, and families were cordially invited to join in this solemn event.
The march commenced with a 10:00 a.m. assembly lineup, where participants gathered to pay their respects and reflect on the life and legacy of Dr. King. The participants we noticed were the The Men of Southeast Raleigh, Delta Sigma Theta, Phi Beta Sigma, Sigma Gamma Rho, Free Masons, National Organization For Women, Kappa Alpha Psi and more.
