The opening day of The Soccer Tournament (TST 2026) delivered nonstop action at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina as teams battled for positioning in the $1 million winner-take-all tournament.

After the first day of group stage play, several teams have already separated themselves from the pack with dominant performances, while fan favorites like Dreamville FC, Villarreal CF, and Club América still have work to do heading into day two.

Group Leaders After Day One

Group A

• Bumpy Pitch FC leads the group at 2-0 with a +4 goal differential.
• LCF Academy and Legio FC sit in the middle of the standings at 1-1.

Group B

• Hernandez United opened the tournament with a perfect 2-0 record.
• Pumas De Alabama and La Mexicana Express remain within striking distance.

• Villarreal CF and Club América each split their opening matches and will need strong performances moving forward.

• Tactical Manager Flo Sharks lead the group after two wins.
