On Saturday, December 21st, a variety of events will take place. From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Self Care Marketplace located at 12 West Martin Street, will offer zero-proof beverages from Umbrella Dry Bar and complimentary gift wrapping for purchases. At 3 p.m., the North Carolina Symphony will present a Candlelight Christmas with Holiday Brass. Burning Coal Theatre Company will host “The Rainmaker” from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. The GRL MARKET, a women’s maker market, will be held at Transfer Co. Ballroom from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Meanwhile, “Hell Yeah I Have Bingo!” will run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at The Green Monkey. Slim’s Downtown will feature Lazaris Pit from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. The Green Monkey will also host “Twelve Days Of Gifts” from noon to 9 p.m. Finally, the 5th Annual Illuminate Art Walk will take place on Fayetteville Street Venue from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., best viewed beginning at sunset.
