About
The Community Engagement Board will play a vital role in developing, evaluating, and implementing the City of Raleigh’s community engagement efforts. Its responsibilities include reviewing existing community engagement policies, practices, and procedures to provide recommendations for improvement. The board will work to elevate the voices and needs of historically marginalized communities within government decision-making processes. Additionally, it will advise and assist the City in developing and implementing equitable community engagement strategies. The board will also support public outreach efforts by connecting with community members and convening stakeholders to promote opportunities for engagement.
