Downtown Raleigh will come alive with music, art, food and community during the 17th Annual African American Cultural Festival of Raleigh and Wake County, taking place Saturday, September 5, and Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Held along Fayetteville Street during Labor Day weekend, the free, family-friendly festival celebrates African American culture and heritage through live performances, visual art, dance, theatre, interactive activities and local entrepreneurship.
