From iconic singer-songwriters and international bands to stand-up comedy and symphony performances, Raleigh, Durham, Cary, Chapel Hill, and Carrboro are buzzing with entertainment. Mark your calendars for these must-see events between Wednesday, October 1, and Tuesday, October 7, 2025.

On Wednesday, October 1, several concerts are scheduled across different venues. Mary Chapin Carpenter and Brandy Clark will perform at 7:00 PM at the Durham Performing Arts Center in Durham. Meanwhile, Alex Warren is set to take the stage at 8:00 PM at the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh. Also at 8:00 PM, Destin Conrad will be performing at The Lincoln Theatre, and Lil Tecca, also known as TEC, will be at The Ritz, both located in Raleigh.

On Thursday, October 2, several events are taking place across Raleigh and Durham. At 7:00 PM, Shabana Azmi will be at the Fletcher Opera Theater in the Martin Marietta Center in Raleigh. Meanwhile, John Mulaney will perform at 7:30 PM at the DPAC in Durham. Natalia Jimenez will take the stage at 8:00 PM at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, also in the Martin Marietta Center in Raleigh. The Castellows will perform at 8:00 PM at The Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh, and Polyrhythmics will be at Motorco Music Hall in Durham at the same time. Additionally, Sweet Pill will have a show at 8:00 PM at Kings in Raleigh.

On Friday, October 3, there is a variety of entertainment options available in the Raleigh and Durham areas. At the Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, Greensky Bluegrass & JJ Grey and Mofro will perform at 7:00 PM. Meanwhile, Irene Tu will have shows at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh at 7:00 PM and 9:15 PM. In Durham, Slow Crush will take the stage at The Fruit at 7:30 PM, and John Mulaney will perform at DPAC at the same time. Chinedu Unaka will also be at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh, with performances at 7:30 PM and 9:45 PM. Rhonda Vincent and The Rage will be at Liberty Showcase Theater in Liberty at 8:00 PM, and Peach Pit will perform at The Ritz in Raleigh at the same time. The Tubs will be at Kings in Raleigh at 8:00 PM, and Penelope Road will play at Cat’s Cradle in Carrboro at 8:00 PM. Additionally, the NC Symphony will present “The Music of John Williams” at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh at 8:00 PM.

On Saturday, October 4, there are events happening across Raleigh and Durham. Ian Bagg will perform at 6:30 PM at the Raleigh Improv in Cary. John Mulaney is scheduled for two shows at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM at the DPAC in Durham. The Bridge City Sinners will take the stage at 7:00 PM at The Fruit in Durham, while Rick Glassman will also perform at 7:00 PM and 9:30 PM at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh. Chinedu Unaka will have shows at 7:30 PM and 10:00 PM at Room 861, Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh. For music enthusiasts, Distant Worlds: The Music from Final Fantasy will be performed at 8:00 PM at the Raleigh Memorial Auditorium, Martin Marietta Center in Raleigh. Bladee will also perform at 8:00 PM at The Ritz in Raleigh. The NC Symphony will present The Music of John Williams at 8:00 PM at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh. Lastly, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong and Eddie 9V will perform at 8:30 PM at The Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh.

On Sunday, October 5, there are numerous events happening across various venues. Mark Viera will perform at 6:00 PM at Raleigh Improv in Cary, while the Suicideboys are scheduled to take the stage at 6:30 PM at Coastal Credit Union Music Park in Raleigh. For comedy enthusiasts, Lil Mo Mozzarella will be at Goodnights Comedy Club in Raleigh at 7:00 PM, and Quan Wiggins will also perform there at 7:30 PM. Neko Case will be at DPAC in Durham at 7:30 PM. On Monday, October 6, 2025, the Triangle lights up with a diverse mix of live performances. In Chapel Hill, Anika takes the stage at Local 506 at 8:00 PM, while over in Raleigh, legendary rockers The Melvins headline The Lincoln Theatre and indie favorite Alex G performs at The Ritz, both starting at 8:00 PM. Carrboro also offers a double dose of music with Rio Romeo at Cat’s Cradle Back Room and Petey USA at the main Cat’s Cradle, each beginning at 8:00 PM. Whether you’re into indie, experimental, or rock, Monday night promises something for everyone across the Triangle.

Tuesday, October 7, at 8:00 PM, Motorco Music Hall in Durham will host Jonah Marais. Local 506 in Chapel Hill will feature Real Estate, while Haw River Ballroom in Saxapahaw will host Black Uhuru. The Lincoln Theatre in Raleigh will close the night with their performance.
