Step Back in Time at Moore Square This October

As autumn paints Raleigh in warm hues, The City of Raleigh Museum, in partnership with Moore Square and The Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum, invites you to an unforgettable evening — Fall into History at Moore Square.

From 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 10, this free, family-friendly event transforms one of Raleigh’s most historic parks into a living time capsule. As twilight sets in, meet the remarkable figures who helped shape Raleigh’s past through immersive storytelling and powerful performances. Local actors will bring these historical personalities to life with candlelit monologues that illuminate the city’s rich cultural legacy.

After your journey through time, stop by the Community Tables to create a free fall-themed craft and enjoy seasonal snacks and beverages. A premium craft experience will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting the City of Raleigh Museum. Local vendors will also offer additional food and drink options for purchase — perfect for a cozy fall evening downtown.

This event blends history, art, and community into one engaging experience — the perfect way to celebrate fall in Downtown Raleigh!
