North Carolina residents looking for a new career will have an opportunity to meet recruiters from more than 30 state agencies and public universities at the 2026 State of North Carolina Career Expo.
The fourth annual hiring event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, August 31, 2026, at the Sheraton Imperial RTP in Durham. Admission is free, and North Carolinians of all education and experience levels are invited to register.

With participating organizations representing different areas of state government and higher education, candidates can explore opportunities that match a variety of skills and professional backgrounds.
