A Day of History, Crafts, and Exploration
Visitors will have the opportunity to:
• Take a themed park tour focused on the influential women of Mordecai.
• Watch live craft demonstrations by the Tri-Tatters, showcasing traditional lace-making techniques.
• Experience hearth cooking in the historic kitchen, offering a glimpse into 19th-century culinary traditions.
• Engage in hands-on activities, including historic yard games and a special Hands-on History craft session.
• Ride the Historic Raleigh Trolley for a women’s history tour of downtown Raleigh.
• Attend a lecture by John Millhauser at the Visitor’s Center, discussing the many people who have lived in and around Mordecai Historic Park.
Ticket Information
While most activities are free, park and trolley tours require tickets:
• House and Grounds Tours: $7 for adults, $4 for seniors and children
• Historic Raleigh Trolley Tour: $12 per ticket
