On a beautiful Thursday evening, the heart of Southeast Raleigh pulsed with joy, pride, and community as neighbors came together for a vibrant Juneteenth Celebration at John Chavis Memorial Park.

From the moment the music started, the energy was contagious. A live DJ kept the crowd moving with feel-good tracks, while kids bounced happily on inflatables, had their faces painted, and got creative with hands-on crafts. The park was alive with laughter, rhythm, and color as families, friends, and community members celebrated freedom, culture, and connection.

Free and open to all ages, this event truly had something for everyone. Whether you came to dance, relax, or simply take it all in, it was a celebration to remember.
